Kenneth R. Turnage II General Contractor – founder and President
Kenny is the founder and President of K2GC. Which is a dba for Kenneth R. Turnage II General Contractor Inc. Kenny was born into the construction industry. By the time he was thirteen, it was evident that the building, remodeling and repairing of homes was to become his calling. All through school and right after graduating from Antioch High School, Kenny worked for his family owned and operated construction company in Antioch called Turnage Construction. During which time he worked his way up the ranks starting as a laborer, progressing into a carpenter.

With the wide array of trades required to rebuild a home from fire or water damage, Kenny became skilled in many different facets of construction. After time the natural progression led him into the office as a Project Manager, then next an estimator. After a period of time Kenny had begun handling the day to day operations of the family construction company.

In 2000 Kenny earned his California State Contractor’s license. In 2003 Kenny left the family business due to philosophical differences. After a brief period of working in HVAC industry, Kenny came back to his true calling, rebuilding and remodeling homes. This was the beginning of K2GC.

To this day Kenny handles the business with similar family values that were taught to him growing up in the business. He is frequently donating time and sponsoring youth athletics and other youth activities. Kenny’s belief that it is not only our job and work ethic that defines us, but also our willingness to be involved and help support our community.
